USING CRYSTALS AND/OR STONES IN YOUR MEDITATIONS
Early in my awakening I felt a connection to crystals and stones. I would visit a local metaphysical store and just let my intuition and senses see what might be calling to me on that particular day. I really didn’t look to see what the properties were. I just purchased what I was drawn too. The more my soul opened up, the more I would feel called to connect with certain stones.
I finally began to connect even more and began identifying my collection. I was truly amazed at how my collection had the exact properties that I had needed during various periods of awakening and healing. I have developed a practice of letting my collection speak to me when I am setting up a grid for meditation. Today as I pulled from my collection, I was again in awe of my selection. We are here at the beginning of 2021 and a specific energy is definitely prevalent. Let’s see just what called to me today and I will share a picture of my grid.
I normally always have two specific stones included in most of my grids: selenite and lapis lazuli.
Selenite is a calming stone that instills deep peace and is excellent for meditation or spiritual work. It assists judgement and insight. It clears confusion and aids in seeing the deeper picture. Selenite aligns the spinal column and promotes flexibility. *Located at the top of the grid
Lapis lazuli assist with mental healing and emotional powers. Lapis Lazuli carries positive energy and can strengthen the mind, helping its wearer to overcome issues relating to trauma, depression or grief. It can help its wearer to declutter their mind, think more clearly and bring about inner hope and courage. Lapis Lazuli boosts the immune system, purifies blood, lowers blood pressure, cooling and soothing areas of inflammation. It alleviates insomnia and vertigo, and overcomes depression. The energy of lapis lazuli can also help a person become more aware of, and consequently easily access and express his or her truth. Lapis lazuli activates a life of more intelligence, success, and an unshakable inner balance and power that is rooted in ancient connections. ***Lapis is what I call “my stone,” it was the first to call out to me. I have learned since this was because of past life experiences with this stone. (A story for another time) *Lapis is at the center of my grid. You will see a skull made of lapis. This actual piece is from the Crystal Skull collection.
